Application and maintenance of railway accessories

Railway accessories are mainly used in railways and are an important part of ensuring the safe operation of railways. As an integral engineering structure, the railway track is laid on the roadbed, plays a guiding role in the operation of the train, and directly bears the huge pressure and load of the rolling stock. There are many types of railway accessories, so how to better apply and maintain railway accessories?
Sleepers support the rails, transfer the pressure of the rails to the bed, and maintain the position and gauge of the rails. Sleepers can be divided into two types, namely wooden sleepers and reinforced concrete sleepers. Wooden sleepers have good elasticity, light weight, and are easy to replace, but consume a lot of wood and have a short service life. Reinforced concrete sleepers have long service life, high stability, and small maintenance workload. The length of sleepers is generally 2.5 meters. The role of the guide rail is to directly bear the huge pressure of the wheel and guide the direction of the wheel. In terms of weight per meter length, the current standard track types are: 70 kg/m, 60 kg/m, 50 kg/m, and the standard rail length is 25 meters and 12 meters. Due to the longitudinal effect of train running, the anti-skid device causes longitudinal movement of rails and even sleepers, which is called line crawling.
In addition to the above types of railway accessories, there are also fasteners and fishplates, etc. These are commonly used accessories. To ensure the performance of the accessories, we must do a good job in the maintenance of the accessories in the future operation . During railway operation, pay attention to the regular inspection and maintenance of railway accessories. All problems must be within the specified range. If it exceeds the specified operating range, please stop the operation immediately and perform maintenance as soon as possible.
