Precautions for installation of spiral spikes

Spiral spikes are one of many railway accessories, which play a fixed role in fixing the entire railway track. In daily inspection and maintenance, special attention should be paid to spikes. On the one hand, it is necessary to ensure that the quality of the screw spikes is qualified; on the other hand, the installation and anchoring of the screws should be correct. So, what are the precautions for screw spike anchoring?
1. The anchors are fixed with sulfur cement mortar. The preparation and preparation process of sulfur cement mortar shall comply with the relevant provisions of railway track construction and acceptance specifications.
2. Before anchoring, foreign objects in the reserved holes of the crossties and foreign objects in the screw adhesion should be cleaned. The screws should be dry and the temperature should be kept above 0°C.
3. The anchoring method should be reverse anchoring, and the anchoring screw should be positioned through the mold. Pour the anchor slurry into the hole from the bottom of the pillow, then turn it to the right, and demould it after curing. When anchoring, the bottom of the reserved hole should be tightly sealed to prevent mud leakage. After injecting the anchor slurry into the hole from the surface of the base, slowly rotate the anchor screw left and right and insert it vertically. When injecting sulfur cement mortar into the well, the temperature must not be lower than 130°C to prevent segregation. After filling a hole, the grouting depth should be 20mm longer than the length of the nailed hole. The top surface of the anchoring slurry should be flat with the surface of the track bearing groove. After curing, the spilled residue should be cleaned and smoothed.
4. The anchor screw should be perpendicular to the groove surface of the support rail, and the deflection should not be greater than 2 degrees. The intersection of the line of the nail and the groove surface of the rail support shall not exceed 2mm from the point in the middle of the reserved hole. The bottom of the nail cone should be higher than the surface of the track bearing groove, but not more than 2mm, and the pulling force of the anchor stud should not be less than 60kN.
The above are some problems that should be paid attention to when anchoring the spiral spikes introduced. Only when the spiral screws are anchored correctly and reasonably can the fastening function of the spiral screws be fully utilized and the integrity of the anchored spiral screws can be guaranteed.
