Casting process of Rail Fish Plates

1. Mold preparation

Design mold: Design and make casting mold according to the design drawings and requirements of Rail Fish Plates. The precision and quality of the mold directly affect the quality and dimensional accuracy of the casting.
Mold inspection: A comprehensive inspection of the mold before casting to ensure that the mold is not damaged, deformed, and meets the production requirements.

2. Material preparation

Selection of raw materials: According to the material requirements of Rail Fish Plates, select the appropriate metal materials, such as steel.
Material smelting: The selected metal material is smelted to obtain a metal liquid that meets the requirements. The composition and temperature of the metal liquid need to be controlled during the melting process to ensure the quality of the casting.

3. Pour

Preheat the mold: Preheat the mold before pouring to reduce the temperature difference between the liquid metal and the mold to avoid defects such as cracks.
Pouring molten metal: The molten metal is poured into the mold. The casting speed and temperature need to be controlled during the casting process to ensure that the metal liquid can fully fill the mold and form a good casting.

4. Cooling and solidification

Natural cooling: After pouring is completed, let the casting naturally cool to a certain temperature in the mold. The cooling speed needs to be controlled during the cooling process to avoid excessive internal stress and deformation.
Demoulding: When the casting has cooled to a certain temperature, the casting is removed from the mold. Careful handling is required during the demoulding process to avoid damaging the casting.

5. Follow-up treatment

Cleaning: Clean the castings after stripping to remove impurities such as sand and burrs on the surface.
Heat treatment: Heat treatment of castings as needed to improve their structure and properties. Heat treatment includes annealing, normalizing, quenching and other processes.
Inspection: Comprehensive inspection of castings, including dimensional inspection, appearance inspection and performance inspection. Ensure castings comply with design requirements and relevant standards.
