Application and precautions of emergency rail clamp

Emergency rail clamp is an indispensable tool in railway maintenance and emergency repair work, which can quickly and reliably complete the temporary connection and repair work of rail in emergency situations to ensure the safety and normal operation of railway lines.

When using emergency rail clamps, strictly follow the product instructions or operation guides to ensure correct, firm and reliable installation. During the installation process, it should be noted that the bevel of the chuck groove is aligned with the bevel of the bottom of the rail to achieve the best clamping effect. At the same time, when disassembling the clamp body, the nuts at both ends should be relaxed, but the nuts should not be directly separated from the bolts to avoid the fish plate and the clamp body popping out and hurting the human body.

Note the following:

The chuck groove bevel must rest on the bottom bevel of the rail.
The nuts at both ends are close to reaching the rated torque at the same time, and if the three pairs are used in combination, the nuts at both ends of the double-tightening middle clamp body should also be close to reaching the rated torque at the same time.
If the locking plate does not hold the nut, you can slightly turn the nut (clockwise) to adjust the Angle of the hexagon nut, and then lower the locking plate (do not adjust the Angle of the hexagon nut counterclockwise and lower the locking plate).
When removing the clamp body, loosen the nuts at both ends, but the nut must not be directly separated from the bolt, so as to avoid the fish plate and the clamp body popping out and hurting the human body.
