Structure and Design

The Type I Rail Fastener System usually includes elastic rail clips (such as ω-type elastic clips), underrail support plates, fastening bolts and other components. These components work together to secure the rail firmly to the rail pillow.

Elastic rail clips (such as type A and Type B e-clips) are usually made of 60Si2Mn or 55Si2Mn hot-rolled spring steel with high hardness and good elasticity.
