Verify proper rail cant

Spiking

Drive spikes at 90° ±2° angle

Use calibrated spike maul
 

Surface Prep

Clean shoulder area

Apply corrosion inhibitor

Bolting

Torque to 300Nm (M24) or 450Nm (M27)

Follow star pattern sequence

Verification

Check plate seating (0.1mm feeler gauge)

Measure rail inclination
