The aperture production process of Rail Fish Plates

Aperture machining

Drilling or punching

Drilling: Use a drill bit to drill the desired aperture in the fishplate. When drilling, it is necessary to control the speed and feed speed of the bit to ensure the accuracy and roundness of the aperture.

Punching: For some mass-produced fishplates, a punching machine can be used for punching operations. The punching speed is fast and the efficiency is high, but it is necessary to pay attention to the design and manufacturing accuracy of the mold.

Aperture inspection

Check the machined aperture to ensure that the size, position and shape of the aperture meet the design requirements. Measurements can be made using measuring tools (such as vernier calipers, inner micrometers, etc.).

Follow-up treatment

Heat treatment: Heat treatment as needed (such as quenching, tempering, etc.) to improve the hardness and wear resistance of the fishplate.
Surface treatment: The surface treatment of the fishtail plate (such as sandblasting, painting, galvanized, etc.) to improve its corrosion resistance and beauty.
Quality inspection: a comprehensive quality inspection of the finished fishplate, including the precision of the aperture, surface quality, hardness and other indicators. Ensure product compliance with relevant standards and customer requirements.
