Railway Emergency clamp procedure

 procedure

1. Determine the emergency
First, you need to know if you are in an emergency. Emergency braking devices should only be used when it is confirmed that emergency braking is necessary.

2. Look for emergency brakes
Emergency braking devices are usually located in a prominent position in the driver's cab or passenger compartment of the train, and will be clearly marked.

3. Operate the emergency brake device
According to the specific type of device (e.g. handle, button, etc.), follow the logo or operating instructions.
4. Observe the braking effect
After triggering emergency braking, the braking effect of the train should be closely observed. The train should be slowed down and stopped quickly. If the train does not slow down or stop as expected, it may be necessary to repeat operation of the emergency brake device or take other emergency measures.

5. Notify relevant personnel
Staff and other passengers on the train should be notified immediately after emergency braking is triggered. Information can be transmitted through the in-train public address system, emergency communication devices, or other means of communication. At the same time, remain calm and follow the instructions of the staff.
