Methods for improving wear resistance
Selection of wear-resistant materials: When selecting rail shoulder materials, priority should be given to materials with high hardness and wear resistance, such as high-strength ductile iron. These materials are better able to resist wear and corrosion, thus extending the service life of the rail shoulder.
Optimized structural design: By optimizing the structural design of the rail shoulder, its wear resistance can be further improved. For example, a more reasonable shape and size design can be used to reduce friction and wear between the rail shoulder and the elastic fastener.
Strengthen the surface treatment: sandblasting, shot blasting and other treatments on the surface of the rail shoulder can increase the roughness and hardness of its surface, thereby improving the friction between it and the elastic fastener to prevent loosening and falling off. At the same time, a wear-resistant coating on the surface of the rail shoulder can be considered to further improve its anti-wear performance.
