Processing technology of Railway Sleeper Plates
Processing flow
Material preparation:
Select the steel plate suitable for the specifications and quality requirements, and cut the large steel plate into a predetermined size of small steel plate through the cutting machine.
Heating:
The cut steel plate is placed in the heating furnace for high temperature heating, so that it reaches a certain plastic state, which is convenient for subsequent molding processing.
Stamping:
Using a large hydraulic press or mechanical press, the heated steel plate is stamped into the basic shape of the pillow board. This step usually involves pressing the sheet into a flat surface and forming holes or grooves in the desired location.
Finishing:
The pillow board after stamping is processed twice, including drilling, trimming, deburring, etc., to ensure that the size of the pillow board is accurate and the surface finish meets the requirements.
Drilling: Drill holes for installing bolts or nails on the pillow board according to the design drawings.
Trimming: Trim the edge of the pillow board according to the design requirements to make it conform to the standard size.
Heat treatment:
In order to improve the hardness and wear resistance of the pillow board, it is heat treated (such as quenching, tempering, etc.). This process can improve the microstructure of steel and enhance its mechanical properties.
Surface treatment:
The pillow board is surfacing to increase its corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. Common methods include spraying anti-rust paint, electrogalvanizing or other protective coatings.
Quality inspection:
Strict quality inspection of the finished pillow wood, including dimensional measurement, surface inspection, hardness testing and mechanical performance testing, etc., to ensure that the product meets the relevant standards and technical requirements.
