How do I install SKL fasteners
Installation procedure
Laying elastic plate:
Place the elastic cushion plate on the bearing surface of the sleeper to ensure that the cushion plate is smooth and accurate.
Install gauge baffle:
Place the gauge baffle in the reserved slot on the sleeper to ensure that the baffle is in line with the gauge of the track.
Place insulation gaskets:
Place an insulation gasket at the position to be installed on the spring bar at the bottom of the rail. Pay attention to the direction and position of the gasket, and ensure that the semicircle opening faces outward.
Mounting bar:
Place the strip in the pre-installed position of the gauge baffle, ensuring that the strip is tightly fitted to the track and gauge baffle.
Use a special tool or wrench to fix the elastic bar on the track and ensure that the tightening torque of the elastic bar meets the design requirements.
Install sleeper bolts:
Push the tie bolt through the tie and spring bar and tighten the bolt to the specified torque using a torque wrench.
Ensure that the tightening torque of the bolt is even to avoid too tight or too loose.
Check the installation quality:
Check that the SKL fastener is firmly installed and that the spring bar and gauge baffle are tightly fitted to the track.
Use measuring tools to check that the track's gauge, level, and orientation meet design requirements.
