Emergency treatment scheme of railway broken track

1. Start the emergency repair plan immediately

When the track circuit fault notification is received or the rail is found to be broken, the emergency repair plan must be immediately launched, and relevant personnel must be organized to quickly rush to the fault section.

2. Set up stop signal protection

A stop signal is set immediately at the fault location to ensure that the train can stop in time.

3. Find the cause of the failure

Split inspection, two people per share, one person each inside and outside the mouth, in the first time to find the cause of the failure, determine the location and situation of the broken rail.

4. Reinforcement of broken rail

When the rail crack is less than 50mm, emergency reinforcement should be carried out immediately. Place a splint or bulging splint on the broken joint, fix it with a first-aid device, and tighten the fastener within 50m before and after the broken joint.
If the broken seam is less than 30mm, the train can be released at a speed of no more than 45km/h, but special guards need to be assigned to ensure safety.

5. Speed limit traffic

After emergency reinforcement of the rail, speed should be limited to ensure the safe operation of the train. The specific speed limit must be determined based on site conditions and reinforcement effects.
