Types and Characteristics

Standard Joint Bar

The most common type used in general railway connections. It possesses sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand various forces during train operations.

Insulated Joint Bar

Primarily used at the juncture of two automatic block sections to ensure that track signal current does not transmit from one block section to another. Insulated joint bars exhibit excellent insulating properties to prevent current leakage.

Frozen Joint Bar

Connects steel rails using a clamp and high-strength bolts, allowing the rail ends to be closely fitted or with a small gap reserved, locking the steel rails to prevent expansion and contraction. This type is particularly useful in cold regions or where steel rail expansion and contraction need to be prevented.

Special-shaped Joint Bar

Used to connect two different types or specifications of steel rails. The ends of a special-shaped joint bar are compatible with different steel rail profiles, ensuring a stable connection.

Expansion Joint Bar

Also known as a temperature regulator, used to connect tracks with significant rail end expansion and contraction, as well as for seamless line steel rail joints on bridges with large spans. The expansion joint bar can accommodate steel rail expansion and contraction changes, ensuring smooth railway operation.

Vibration-reducing Joint Bar

Raises the middle part of the clamp on the outer side of the rail joint to align with the steel rail head, reducing impact vibration when wheels pass over the rail gap. The vibration-reducing joint bar has significant rigidity, mitigating wheel impacts and enhancing railway ride comfort.
