Railway shoulder replacement construction steps
Remove the fasteners:First, you need to remove the fasteners on the shoulder of the sleeper, such as nuts, flat washers, spring strips, gauge baffles, baffle seats, etc.
Clean the shoulder surface:Remove the impurities and damaged parts of the shoulder surface, and ensure that the bonding surface is clean and dry. This can be done using tools such as a hair dryer or wind gun.
Rough treatment: In order to enhance the bond performance of the new and old concrete, the adhesive surface of the shoulder is rough treatment.
Positioning and installation: Position the mold of the new shoulder, apply release agent or cover a layer of plastic cloth inside the mold, and then install the new shoulder.
Filling and fixing: If the shoulder is badly damaged, it may need to be filled with epoxy repair material or other fillers. According to the volume of the damaged part, an appropriate amount of repair material was prepared according to the mix ratio and poured into the cavity of the repair mold.
Smoothing and curing: After filling, use a tool to remove excess material and smooth the top of the shoulder. Then wait for the repair material to cure.
Check and adjust: After the repair material is cured, check whether the shoulder is stable and adjust it as needed.
