Rail joint splint usage specification
Usage specification
Splint specification and material
Specification matching: The specifications of the splint must match the specifications of the rail used, including the length, width, thickness and hole spacing.
Material requirements: The material of the splint must meet the design requirements, usually made of high-strength, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant alloy steel material.
Splint quality and inspection
Quality without defects: the splint must have no defects, no plastic deformation, no damage and other quality problems, the surface should be smooth, no obvious scratches.
Inspection and acceptance: Before using the splint on the construction site, careful inspection and test clips should be carried out to ensure that it meets the quality requirements. At the same time, it should be checked whether the fasteners of the splint are complete and intact.
Clamp installation and fastening
Installation position: The position of the splint should be controlled according to the above and below, left and right, and front and back respectively, to ensure that the splint and the rail are closely fitted.
Fastening requirements: The clamping force of the splint should meet the requirements of the specification, and the special fasteners should be used to firmly fix it on the rail. When tightening, it should be stable and slow, and the pre-tightening amount should not be less than the specified value.
Bolt installation: If the fishtail bolt is used with the splint, it should be ensured that the bolt is pierced through the oval hole, and the tail protrude in line with the oval hole to play a tightening role. At the same time, the installation of bolts and washers should meet the requirements, and the opening of the washers should be downward.
