Process of emergency treatment of railway broken track

Disposal process
 

Immediate stop and alarm:
Once the rail is found to be broken, the driver should immediately stop the vehicle and cut off the power supply to ensure the safety of passengers and platform staff.
Quickly issue an alarm signal to notify the relevant departments to deal with the scene.

 

Maintain site safety:
Set up safety signs in accordance with the regulations, such as safety cones, traffic lights, warning belts, etc., set up safety cordons in the driving direction and the opposite direction.
Personnel on the platform are prohibited from approaching the fracture, and measures are taken to avoid debris splashing and ensure site safety.

 

Start emergency repair plan:
After receiving the notice of track circuit fault, the emergency repair plan must be activated immediately.
Arrange the station and site protection personnel, carry the necessary emergency repair supplies and tools, and quickly rush to the fault area.

 

Emergency reinforcement treatment:
If the broken joint is not greater than 30mm (or according to specific regulations), the splint or the heave splint can be placed on the broken joint and reinforced with a first aid device.
Tighten fasteners within 50m before and after the broken joints, and assign personnel to guard them.

 

Speed limit operation:
The train is released at a speed of no more than 45km/h, and the speed limit on the adjacent line is no more than 160km/h (the specific speed limit is adjusted according to the site conditions and regulations).

 

Replacement of damaged rail:
According to the maintenance plan, prepare the necessary materials and human resources to replace the rail.

 

Resumption of rail transport:
After the replacement of the rail, safety inspection and acceptance are carried out to ensure safe passage of the railway line.
Restore normal transport order.

 

Take preventive measures:
Establish a sound rail safety management system to strengthen professional and technical management.
Regular rail inspection and maintenance, timely detection and treatment of potential problems.
