Manufacturing standard for Rail tie plates
Manufacturing standard
1. Material standards
Material selection: The rail pressure plate is generally made of high-strength, wear-resistant steel, such as carbon steel or alloy steel. These materials should have good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance to withstand the huge pressure and impact force during train operation.
Chemical composition: There are strict requirements for the chemical composition of steel to ensure the stability of its physical and mechanical properties. For example, the carbon content, sulfur content and phosphorus content in steel need to be controlled within a certain range.
2. size standard
Length, width, thickness: The size of the rail clamp should be designed according to the type and specification of the rail to ensure a tight fit with the rail and sleeper. Specific values for length, width and thickness are specified in the standard.
Aperture and hole spacing: The aperture and hole spacing used to install the bolts also need to be precisely controlled to ensure that the bolts are securely attached to the platen, rail and sleeper.
3. Quality standards
Surface finish: The surface of the platen should be smooth, without defects, cracks and deformation, etc., to ensure that it is closely fitted with the contact surface of the rail and sleeper.
Mechanical properties: including tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and other indicators of the test to ensure that the pressure plate will not break or deformation under pressure.
Hardness test: The hardness of the pressure plate is tested to verify whether its wear resistance meets the requirements.
4. Safety standards
Bearing capacity test: The bearing capacity test of static load, dynamic load and impact load is carried out on the platen to ensure that it will not be damaged or fail in actual use.
Stability test: Verify the stability of the pressure plate during long-term use, including the ability to resist vibration, temperature change and other factors.
5. Use standards
Installation requirements: Specify the correct installation methods and steps of the pressure plate, including the tightening torque of bolts and the use of gaskets.
Maintenance and maintenance: Provide maintenance and maintenance guidelines for the platen, including regular inspection, cleaning, replacement of damaged parts, etc.
