Daily maintenance of railway track
Daily inspection and testing
Appearance and surface damage inspection
Through the combination of inspection and daily survey, carefully check the appearance of the rail, including wear, rust, peeling, falling pieces, scratches and other damage, and make a detailed record of the surface of the fish scale cracks and other damage. A manual review is carried out to ensure that at least five lesions per kilometre are detected.
Rail flaw detection
The normal rail is inspected once a month by a flaw detection car, and twice a year by a small flaw detector. The incoming and outgoing rail is inspected four times a year, and the other station lines are inspected twice a year. The inspection period will be appropriately shortened in winter to ensure that potential safety hazards are discovered and dealt with in a timely manner.
Check the flatness and profile of the weld
Check the flatness of the weld using a rail flatness measuring instrument to ensure that it is checked at least once a year. Welded joints that meet the standard for minor injuries are inspected quarterly. The profile of the rail is inspected at a fixed point by the rail profile instrument, which is carried out once a quarter and the light band condition is recorded in detail.
